My work for BHP Billiton Petroleum is a crisis engagement where I am part of an on-call rotation to serve as a member of their Emergency Response Team. This involves participating in regular testing of their emergency response system, participation in drills run by government regulators and being available 24/7 to respond to a crisis should one occur. In a crisis situation, my role is to report to the incident command center to provide counsel in media response and to develop internal and external communications materials as needed. |
